Grant by John Loveden of Lambourne in the county of Barkshire [sic], gentleman, and Joan his wife, daughter and heir of Nicholas Eve, late of Chellmesford in Essex, deceased; and Richard Browne of London, gentleman, and Joan his wife, late the wife of the said Nicholas, to William Hediche of Chellmesforde aforesaid, haberdasher, in part fulfillment of the covenants of an indenture between them dated 24 May 33 Elizabeth [I], of a parcel of land containing 5 acres called "Arrowsmithes," lying in Chelmsford, bounded by the lands late of the bishop of London and now of Thomas Willemay, knight, called "Chappellfeild" to the north, a lane leading from the Roman road called "Newstreete" to the Springfeild Mill and a pasture called "Tunmanmeade" to the east and Newstreete itself to the west. With appointment of Thomas Wallinger of Chelmsford, gentleman, and Humphrey Cordell of the same, inholder, their attorneys to deliver seisin.
